Onamia General Store
This is a great example if a Before and After. This is a floor that had some hidden problems. It was covered with VCT until the day before we arrived to polish the concrete. After the removal was done and we started grinding, we noticed that the concrete in about half of the floor had probably frozen before it cured many years before. This makes the concrete very weak and full of air pockets near the surface. After our first grind, we skim coated the bad half of the floor and did our next step of grinding. As it turned out we had to skim coat the floor 3 more times to make sure it was perfect. We applied a brown stain to this floor before we polished it. It turned out absolutely beautiful and we saved a floor that may have otherwise been torn out and re poured.
